One of the goals of the Philomont Village Foundation is to "Safeguard and promote the rich historical heritage and cultural landscape of Philomont village." Here, two "newcomers" visit with Mrs. Laura Pearson, a lifelong resident of the Village. Laura has been integral to the fiber of the community, raising a family with her husband West, active in the local church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the local fire department, and for 50 years, the postmaster for our Post Office.

The Philomont Village Foundation is organized on a non-profit basis, exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding provision of any future federal tax law.
